Anxiety
Anxiety is very common and people who present with anxiety often feel like they have always been anxious. Examples include generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks and health anxiety.
Common signs of anxiety include worry, difficulty stopping worry and rumination. You may catastrophise through ‘what if’ scenarios. You may also notice physical health issues like muscle pain, neck and jaw tension, migraines and headaches as well as gut issues. You may struggle to sleep and feel a strange mixture of constantly fatigued but also on edge.
